What we do

• Vocal tracking
• Small instrument tracking
• Editing and cleanup
• Mixing
• Mastering

Rap, vocals, guitars or a full project. Sessions run from prep and capture through edit, mix and master, and you leave with versions that make sense for streaming, radio, instrumentals and clean edits.

The room and the gear

The room fits four people comfortably. Tracking runs through a Focusrite 18i20 with an Avantone CV-12 as the studio mic, on a Mac Studio M2 Max. Monitoring is Yamaha HS8 mains with an HS8S sub. Mixing and mastering use industry-standard plugins, including the FabFilter suite, Soundtoys, Plugin Alliance and iZotope Ozone 12.

Vocal tuning is available with Antares Auto-Tune Pro, Melodyne 5 and Waves Tune.

How a session works

1. Email or call with your dates, what you need (recording, mix or master) and your genre. References and a rough demo help.
2. We confirm a time. The studio opens at 6 PM and runs overnight, by appointment only.
3. Bring your own beat. We do not provide beats. Send the file ahead of time to info@thefieldsne.com, AirDrop it the day of, or send a YouTube link and we will pull the instrumental.
4. You get WAV files and stream-ready versions at the end.
